In the summer of 2013 AC Seattle (now FC Tacoma 253) played its first season in the WPSL. The team was comprised of top tier American and Italian players like Arica Slawson and Jillian Nicks and Italians Alia Guagni, Viviana Schiavi and Valentina Giacinti.
The team, under the lead of coach Antonio Cincotta, won the Northwest Conference, reaching the regional finals in California and over taking big clubs like Emerald City FC and Issaquah SC. That year AC Seattle also won the Evergreen Cup.

In 2014 AC Seattle participated again in the WPSL, but that second season was unlucky for the club. AC Seattle did a great job in the regular season and was tied with Issaquah SC. Despite that, the rival club advanced to the Regional Finals due to a win by forfeiture (that game was never played but the win went to Issaquah SC).

Now FC Tacoma 253 is preparing for their third WPSL season.
On Tuesday, FCT 253 held a tryout where Arica Slawson and Niki Bonnell, players and assistants coaches, together with Filippo Milano supervised, under the sharp eye of President Giuseppe Pezzano.
In the coming days the selected American players will continue to train and be joined by the newly added players. (check out our website for trainings schedule –> http://fctacoma253.com/wpsl-schedule-practice/).

Be ready, because talented players from Italy will join the team when the technical staff is done selecting its American players.
