FC Tacoma 253 has lifted itself out of its slow start in the NPSL. After one tie and three losses the team saw its first win on Sunday night against the San Francisco Stompers.

In the second half FCT 253 scored it’s third goal at the 69′.
The San Francisco Stompers scored only in the late minutes of the game and, after that, FCT 253’s goalkeeper got a red card at the 90′, resulting in a penalty kick which went wide, leaving the score 3-1.

Marco Dugo, centre back from Italy had this to say after the game: “The team played very well. We really wanted a victory, after the losses of the last few games. The group is cohesive and during the week we worked very well together. I’m happy, we deserved the win.
Next weekend we’re going down to California and playing two back to back games in two days. I’m sure that the team will do a great job because we have a good, quality team. We are on the right track. Go FCT 253!!”
