OSA Part of Spread Love Movement

Seattle’s OSA FC is about developing soccer players as well as a positive community. You may have noticed the Spread Love 2017 movement taking root around Seattle (see image).

Spread Love is a campaign started by local photographer Tara Clark. She wanted a yard sign that showed her belief in a community of open arms—and it turns out there were thousands of other people out there that wanted the same thing! Tara has raised over $35,000, profits of which are donated to:

KUOW (NPR affiliate)
Black Lives Matter c/o The Village of Hope
Planned Parenthood
IRC, Int’l
The Ivy Center for Primary Brain Tumor Treatment
Water 1st Int’l
Counsel for American-Islamic Relations
It Gets Better Project
OneAmerica.

Well, OSA FC was proud to step onto the pitch donning their Spread Love gear for the first match of the US Open Cup against the Sounders FC U-23 team. Showing their support for a community open to all, OSA will continue to stand up for both the rights of all people and good soccer! Show your support for OSA and Spread Love next week as they take on Reno 1868 FC in the US Open Cup May 17th, 2017 at 7:30pm down at Starfire—bring your Spread Love gear for free entry! (Spread Love items will be available for sale at the game or at www.spreadlove2017.com).
